Lesley's experience is vast when it comes to animals. She grew up on a farm and has assisted many pet clients with relieving pain, eliminating allergies, pre/post surgical care, soft tissue injuries, massage and general first aid.
She offers many services for large and small animals. Lesley lives on a farm and allows animals to be transported onto premises for treatment, especially if they require regular treatments. Stalls for large animals are available on a daily, weekly or monthly rent. If the animal can't be transported, then mobile services can easily be provided.
As a certified equine massage therapist her sessions help relieve muscle tension and stiffness, reduce pain and spasm, improve joint flexibility, range of motion and overall enhances athletic performance. Many horses have had wonderful results and continue to remain as clients on maintenance programs.
Another successful modality that Lesley offers for pets is Lumen Photon Therapy. This assists with increasing circulation which helps cellular regeneration and speeds up wound healing (exterior/interior, such as skin, tendons, ligaments). It helps ease pain by reducing inflammation and has an overall calming effect. Please feel free to read more about this modality on the Lumen page.
Allergies in pets is rising rapidly. Lesley is fortunate to have worked on many animals to help relieve their symptoms and even eliminate their allergies altogether. She uses the Allergy Elimination Technique method with a surrogate (usually the owner) to test the animal, which helps her identify what is causing the reaction. Most pet clients that come to her have skin irritations, digestive issues, infections and anxiety. A lot of cases are quickly corrected but there are a few with more severe allergies that have taken more time to resolve. Regardless, it is so rewarding to see the relief in the pet once it has been handled.
Another exciting way that Lesley has assisted pets is by teaching their owners Pet First Aid! She covers basic wound care, how to restrain and transport injured animals, what to have in a first aid kit, provide artificial respiration during respiratory distress, how to give CPR, what to do if your pet is choking, steps to take if you suspect poisoning and dealing with heat and cold related injuries. These wonderful tools along with tips on how to pet-proof your home and yard will give you ease of mind and help you provide the best care for your pet!

My dog was suffering from skin irritations for a long time to the point he was chewing at his sores and making them larger. Lesley discovered that food and water allergies were causing the irritations. She eliminated some allergies and found safe food alternatives. His skin has healed and he is back to his happy self.

My cat underwent difficult surgery. During aftercare, Lesley brought her Lumen to my home for daily treatments. Recovery was fast and smooth. Thanks, Lesley!

My horse had a severe wire cut on his leg, down to the bone. Proud flesh was starting to become a problem. Lesley began to work on him daily and after a couple months I couldn't even see a scar--just a few white hairs over the injury site. I'm so thankful I found her and put him in her care.

Some friends and I held a pet first aid course at my house, with Lesley as instructor. She was patient and made sure we understood the techniques and could apply them.
